Team Cul de Sac

This June the “Team Cul de Sac” book is coming out in honor of cartoonist, Richard Thompson. Proceeds from the sale of the book are going to help raise money to fight Parkinson’s disease. (Richard Thompson was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2009.)
The book has been put together by Chris Sparks, and is now Available for pre-order.

Not only is my more bushy-haired alter-ego in the page linked above all happy as a clam over the trains Dumb Hobo has got for me, DH also does the Snoopy dance at the beginning.  That’s right, the Snoopy dance, folks!   Kudos to Ed for such a fitting homage since, after all, Dudley “Dumb” Hobo Sr. is the same breed of pooch as Snoopy (as in “Beagle”).  And bless your heart, Charles Schultz!

Something Cool

Here Ed and I are posing with an original Dick Tracy drawing presented by Chester Gould to our grandpa, Richard Gustav Held, who got it in 1974 when he was Special Agent In Charge of the Chicago office of the FBI.
