Tyrone’s line in the last panel “And I swear I’ve seen the guy who’s with them before.” is an homage to a line from the movie Home Alone where Marv (Daniel Stern) says to Harry (Joe Pesci) “And I swore I heard that name ‘Snakes’ before.” after being tricked by an old movie into thinking grown-ups were in the house they were trying to break into. Tyrone’s line also reflects how dull-witted he is.
Incidentally Ed and I once did something eons ago where DH, Dingo, and Couver got chased by a couple dogs, and I decided to recycle that here with Tommy and Tyrone the pursuers this time. -Rich
