Hobo and Bowser – Updates Mon – Wed – Fri!

Starting next Sunday, we will be starting a second strip here at “Hobo and Bowser” HQ called “Rabnet”. “Rabnet” is a parody of the old tv show “Dragnet”. The strip will run only on Sundays, be four panels long and will star Hopady as “Sgt. Jo Wednesday”, and Dumb Hobo as “Officer Bill Goo-Goo”. We have been waiting quite some time to bring our “alternate universe” (as it were) to the comic, and now seems like the perfect time to do it!

The strip before this, the car and buildings in the back ground were drawn freehand, whereas in this strip, I used a ruler to help guide my lines. I’m finding that when I first draw a new scene, I tend to just let my hand do most of the work, and worry about refining it later as the story progress and we see more of the location.
