It’s Hobo and Bowser’s second anniversary today. Party it down, world.

Big things will be revealed this week over at The Superfogeys!
Brock Heasley’s “Superfogeys” is a favorite of mine, and it should be one of yours too! Now is an exciting time to start reading, or re-start reading “The Superfogeys”
Having Tyrone say “Yo” is an homage to a scene in Ghostbusters II where Egon says the same thing also with thumb raised while pretending to be a phone company worker. Having Tommy say to Tyrone “Figured that out, did ya?” is a salute to a similar line said in the Christmas caper film Trapped In Paradise where John Ashton’s character says to his dim-witted partner “Figured that out all by yourself, did ya?” Kudos, as always, to Ed for his visual realization of what I wrote, and how well he drew Carrotine walking away with a final word to Tommy and Tyrone. -Rich
Yes, that’s Captain Carrotine from Rabnet doing a cameo in the “main universe” of Hobo and Bowser. Originally I wrote it was a bulldog playing the store manager but as Rabnet kicked off I realized “Hey, Captain Carrotine would make a great store manager in that sequence with Tommy and Tyrone!” so here he is, carrot and all. Kudos to Ed, as always, for his excellent artistic execution of the scene. -Rich
